Tag & Ping = Effective Link Building?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new, new, newbie in the Digitalpoint forums and have been lurking around for sometime trying to soak up as much information as I can but, now I have a question for which I need some feedback.

I've been looking for something new to add to my link building campaigns and came across some Tag & Ping programs like following:

http://www.tagandping.com/

I was just wondering how effective this technique is in terms of link building for traffic and SEO purposes.

i dont suggest to build backlinks with those companies. build backlinks with manual ways

Any particular reason why Tag & Ping link building would be ineffective or not recommended?
