    Security - crud
Organization - crud ... I had to mail them and tell them after I transferred domains to and from them as their system doesn't register moves.

Most people complain about godaddy, but as far as their registrar they are the most stable and secure out there.

    namecheap is a good registrar
moniker.com is also a good registrar
domainsite.com is also another good registrar
godaddy for me is not a good registrar at all ( www.nodaddy.com ) for some info about their dominating business

I like 1and1.com, I use them for the majority of my domains.

For .com, .net, .org and .name the price is $5.99 per year.

Be very careful with GoDaddy. They will take over your domain if you are accused of Spam (real or not). It can be expensive to get the domains back.

I've never had any problems at Name Cheap, I can't say the same however for GoDaddy. Name Cheap's WhoisGuard is a great product that's free too with domain purchases.

Also you can find coupons very often on the forums by searching of course each time there is a new coupon they wind up here fast. I always search here before I buy a new domain.

    Best of luck! :)

Its good to see that some people want to shift to namecheap. Actually its control panel is simple, has everything, great support and also fast speed. Market place also rocks. I some times sold my domains too!

It's good to see generally people realize that GoDaddy is not an actual Domain Daddy
He's popular but not the best choice
Most newcomers know only this name and that's the main reason for his popularity but once you start learn things you see it's not good for anyone

Namecheap is simple and efficient, friendly and reliable, cheap and old enough to gain the trust of domainer's appreciation
For people that still don't believe it re-read the post from the top of this topic
