Very good book. Fahrenheit 451 offers the same.

I'm not so sure about this, on the one hand if this information was supplied to the police and government agencies I can see the good in it - what's the harm in having all of tomorrows criminals fingerprints on file already, but at the same time, do they really need this information to identify children at registration time in the classroom, it seems a bit over the top.

If the government did plan to supply this information to the police, would they actually have to say ??

LOL, krakjoe are you on crack? If the schools have the information, it is the
same if police have it. The point of all this is, to be abel to monitor all USA
citizens, this would eliminate most crime, but it could be used to enslave
the population. Should you trust your goverment and take the risk? It's up
to you, i dont give a fuck cause i don't live there. That would NEVER pass
in any scandinavian goverment EVER! We respect peoples privacy here in
Finland and we have ONE OF THE LOWEST CRIME RATE IN THE WHOLE
WORLD. Also our capital Helsinki, was selected one of the most safe capitals
    of the world.

Go check your self, before you break your self?

Finland has the highest suicide rate in the world. Why don't you do the world a favor and help in defending your countries status as the leader?

Fingerprinting children is the first step to identifying all of us. Eventually it would lead to a national ID card, cashless society, and eventually RF ID chip implants, (little by little, they "sell" us on the "benefits") Then the government would know where we are at all times, and what we do with all of our money.

We definately should hang together. But we can do that without giving up rights and freedoms.
