What is the diff.? I have a couple sites that are not listed under content, but, I still get hits under channels. I have tried to list them under content but they seem to stay under channels.

I just cannot track imp. and CTR under channels.

    Thanks

What are you talking about? Can you give a example.

it is my understanding that adsense displays ads based on content and channels are used to know where visitors click your ads.

They're completely different.. Content is the text you got on your site.. Channels are a way of tracking Adsense preformance on different sites or different ad units

This really confuses me. Does anyone know of a good article explaining channels and content?

Not sure what is so confusing...the content is YOUR webpages. Channels are things you set up that count impressions/clicks on a particular page or subset of pages of your overall site(s).

    Lol..

    Think of content like this......

Content is everything that your website is about.

For example, if you have an article on a website about shoes, then your content will be shoes, but your Google Ads will be targeted to your content. The Google Ads will then try to give you ads that are related to your content.

Channels are what you set up in your Google Admin CP to monitor which areas, sites (content) is doing well and which is bad.
