I am trying to form an LLC in the USA, but am kinda confused on what I need to do. Can anyone who has created an LLC help me out. What did you have to do? I don't want to pay a $500 fee for a lawyer to take care of it since I know it can be quite simple.
They sell an LLC kit at places like Office Depot that you can print and fill out yourself. Mail it in with the required fees and you'll get everything back soon after. It couldn't be easier.
It depends on the state that you wish to form one in. Check out your states website. They should have the info posted somewhere telling you what you need in order to register your LLC.
This article will tell you what you have to do step-by-step to create an LLC. (It is on a site that will also help you create your LLC for a fee.....but it is still a good article on the "how to's". http://www.nolo.com/article.cfm/objectID/FC4734C6-FE8E-4D5C-BFE5E43131AEBA1F/111/182/245/ART/ Jim
Id go to http://www.legalzoom.com/ and fill out the paperwork their. Very easy to do. You can do it yourself via print, but I think filing online is MUCH easier.
