I'm using a word press basic blog but am finding it won't allow more than one link per post without stopping the post displaying.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I write the text in visual mode and add the links in the links view. I'm adding them manually by typing not the auto fucntion as i haven't worked out how to use that.

    Any suggestions?

check the tags, make sure they are not being left open.

also, dump the visual editor if you can, it sucks :).

    Thats not usual..

You can post 100s of links in a post - no restrictions.

I don't think the help should come from your host. Can you provide a screenshot of what you're trying to post?

    Hi,

Whenever I have any trouble, the first thing I do is go back to vanilla. That is, I turn off all plugins, go back to the the original theme, and start adding stuff on one by one until I find the problem. If a vanilla version is not working right, then there is probably an installation problem, but your problem sounds more like one of the plugins or some mod - maybe to the theme. Widgets are sometimes the cause.

    Hope this helps,

    Rich

Go under Users -> Your Profile and uncheck "Use the visual editor when writing". I always have this disabled.
