Steps to follow when the Paypal Account is limited

Hellow Fellow Mates,

Recently my Paypal Personal Account was limited and i was very very frustrated coz of it being limited and secondly the long wait time in paypal queue and also reaching wrong depatments when ever i tried. Thatz when i decided that i will write all steps one must follow so that the others wont face this problem.

Steps to follow.

1. Go to paypal Resoultion centre and find out the reason why they limited your account.
1.a : If it is limited coz u added a VCC, then relax all you need is to show(fax) them your utility bill and bank account statement and then call paypal and tell them you have used a VCC for which there is no credit card statement generated or given.

1.b : If its limited coz of any transactions which they suspect was ill-legal then get the other's party's email id/website address/phone number and then fax it to them and inform them to contact the other party as well to take a conformation from them.

2. For calling paypal follow the below mentioned process to reach them QUICKLY
2.a Dial the paypal number 1-402-935-2050 (a U.S. telephone number) and IVR ( Interactive Voice Recognition/Response system ) and it will go on blah blah blah (you dont need to listen to it just follow the below mentioned steps)

(i) Say YES
(ii) Say NO
(iii) Say AGENT
(iV) Say Paypal Account
(v) Say " I;m an international Paypal Account holder please transfer me to a Resoltuion Officer "

And now in exact 3 mins (yes i had a stop watch on when i tried it) you will be talking to the Resolution Officer for our Interenational Paypal Account Holders This is to be followed if your are a Non-us citizen.

Not sure if it will be of any use to me as i dont have nor intend to add a cc or vcc to my account, but i'm sure it will be useful to no end to other DP members, i think this thread should be stickied.

paypal can really stink when it doesn't work, paypal can also be extremely slow at times too

Yup it will work for you if you wanna reach them quicker.

I'm sure in case of Disputes also when you guys need to talk to Paypal we need to get in touch with International Paypal use Resolution officer's Department so anyone who is a Non-US can make use of the second step and follow it and reach them in less than 3 minutes and save some quick Buck
