I'm an adsense newbie... Somebody keeps on the same ads of mine. which can initially get me banned right? What is the procedure/ method to stop or BLOCK the same person clicking your adsense ads? Is there a thread or somthing with the top 10 adsense rules, in a nutshell ?
Is he using the same IP? You can use Adlogger to prevent multiple clicking. Also you should report it to Google.
How do you know it's the same person? are you using Adlogger? like Sachin said, you can use it to block that IP from seeing your ads, or better yet, block the IP in your HTACCESS.. It's funny that you ask for the top 10 Adsense rules, because i just blogged about that yesterday HERE .. after you read that, you should read ALL the Adsense terms and policies!
How can i find out if it was the same IP? what method do i use? do i go to adsense Control panel page? Ad logger.... is this software? how does it work? hard to use? please explain in vauge detail.... THanks
use adlogger to protect multiple clicks, also shoot a mail to google about this, its good to keep them informed
Everypost i make today tearabite, it seems sombody has posted about it 20 minutes ago (just like the adsense New blogger one) haha
How do you use Adlogger? Is it software? is it a script? How do you use it on your adsense websites ? Sombody who uses it successfully, please explain...... in steps please
i do not run after google's adsense. i do not care much about adsense. they need so many things and so many rules to follow.
Why would you make a thread saying that someone is repetitively clicking on your ads if you have nothing to back up your claim? For all you know, they could be valid clicks... Yes, Adlogger is a program. Go Google it and download it, there should be instructions on the site.
I don't know why, but the Adlogger site seems to be down. I having been trying to access it since last 6-8 hours. http://www.adlogger.org/
Look in the cpanel logs or use a free stats tracker like Statcounter?google analytics to see referrers.
Add to that increasing daily numbers of people getting banned. I'm using them a bit on some sites, but I'm not counting on anything with them.
You can also use the AsRep script to track clicks. It has a module that disable Adsense after a user clicks too many times. Handy little thing.
I am also using Adlogger from the last one month or so and seen decrease in my clicks and i even get report by mail from the ip address which the ads have been clicked and also which ads have been clicked.
