I personally have no problem with it in the case of someone sound of mind with terminal illness. On the otherhand I can understand concerns that it may lead to abuse by medical practitioners or family members of malicious intent.

No one has the right to terminate another or his/hers life.

Therefore I am against suicide, abortion, euthanasia

very true. But I think it really depends on the scenario. what if a person has no chance of recovery?

I have a real story just a month ago there was a boy who got shot on the head by a robber because he didn't give his celphone to the robber. And the robber run away and the boy was left brain dead and the bullet was left on his brain with no chance of recovery. If you were a family member how would you decide on this situation? :(

I know that UK has passed a law to allow oneself to end ones life just because he/or she is bed ridden, on the verge of death and cannot take the pain any more.

My friends, its a big sin to take your own life.God does not agree to this.

It may come as a shock to you, but not everybody believes in God.

Not that I'm aware of - we could never pass such legislation simply because someone on the verge of death probably isn't of sound enough mind to make an informed choice. The name of this Act?

God has no choice in the matter.

Like most other reasonable minds, I hate the idea of someone suffering for no reason. No person should have to live with the burden of taking someone elses life, however as there are no laws, should a family member of mine fall terminally ill and ask me to help them end thier lives I'd do it in a second, I'd rather spend the 15-25 years inside than watch someone I love go through unecessary pain and humiliation.

Interesting notion... Here's a question.. What the fuck has it got to do with you?

On what basis do you feel entitled to decree what people can and can't do with their own life?

I was going to suggest that god can suck a fat one, But instead ill ask how you come to the conclusion that god doesn't agree to it?
