Why Does Google Take Taxes?

No offense, but if my real job took $30 for every $100 (30%) I earned then I would just quit and live on welfare.

I have found no information on google's website as to why they feel they need to take taxes out of payments to sole proprietors *its a businesses responsiblity to pay their taxes*

Google should just be sending the money and letting end users report and pay for the taxes.

Google doesn't want the extra paperwork and expense of deducting and handling your taxes. I'm sure they only do it because the IRS says they must.

:D :D Over here, people pay as much as 45% on taxes, so we are very happy if we get $55 / 100! :)

Yeah but in Britain we get free health care.
Just watch the Michael Moor documentary Sicko you will get the picture.

But 45% is a bit high + 17.5% VAT. It adds up.

Income tax is terrible. Thats why you folks need to vote Ron Paul in the republican primaries. He's all for smaller government. Lookup some of his videos if you're interested.
