Trouble with Dreamweaver

    Dreamveawer gives my trouble this days. It starts to blank out the user and pass for the ftp system.
    Have you experienced this ? What did you do to fix it ?

    Never used the ftp upload feature , i use filezilaa and localhost server for any site or changes i like to make , saves me lots of time in transferring files and what not.

    I never really experience any problems in dreamweaver. Try restarting the program maybe?

    I tend to use dreamweaver to upload when developing a site. Its good because its all in 1 application.

    For big file uploads and when I'm not editing a site its always filezilla.

    I'm the same. Both programs work great when making changes.


    If having problems you might want to try a reinstall but I'll guess you have already tried that.

    Its best to use the ftp in Dremveawer when making small changes to a file, One click and you can check it online.

    Filezilla can be the same. Well ok it can take 3 clicks but at least you get the info updated. ;)

    Sure, I just want to change between as few windows as possible and you will for sure save at least 1 second with dreamweaver ftp he he. For me its a matter of saving the mouse muscle. But for uploading more that 10 files I use ws_ftp, then dreamweaver gets slow.
