Stopped getting traffic from stumbleupon

I've gotten little to nothing visitors from stumbleupon lately but I have still been participating in stumble exchanges, anyone else the same?

 

Same here. Ive gotten around 25 stumbles in a day but so far I havn't even got a single visitor from it. I think theres too many people stumbling meaning the amount of visitors we could have got is going down day by day...

 

That visitors are not converting anyway so whats the point on having them in the first place?

 

You cant judge Traffic this way , IMO stumbleupon sends traffic randomly , 1 day stumble can send 2000 visitors and next day may be only 20 , .

 

If a visitor gives your website a thumbs down, does the traffic stop?

 

Sites are increasing in the stumble upon network because of we are seeing Drop in traffic.

People are getting good hits on their adsense ads and in seven days I had done business of $750.I had converted 20 customers from 1600 visitors.

 

I got 344 uniques in the first day,250~ in the second day, and untill now .. almost one unique visitor per day on the directory from my sig.

I think you get traffic only when you are on top..fresh stumbled.

 

Some how I agree with you .I have same experience. May be what they are doing is giving example of what kind of traffic the can send and after that offering a 0.05 per visitor .

 

What did you sell? Most people dont get conversions.

 

Hosting products and scripts. If people don’t get conversion then why they will waste their time to stumble each other and making strong stumble profile.

Why I am backing my statement is just because I am able to convert visitors to customers.

Ya! I am sure it’s good for me till its driving traffic to my site.

 

Usually when I make a new blog post I give it a thumbs up. I've seen as much as 300 visitors from this, but I may get like 50 or 20. So it's random I suppose.

 

I've got 3000 visitors before yesterday from stumbleupon I can post screenshots if u guys want them

 

Did you make any money from them ?

 

I got like 700 hits a day and didnt get one click. Stumble Upon users dont seem to click.

 

I've heard this story a lot on here that Stumble users don't stick around and don't come back. There must be a tiny percentage that do but it would be hard to figure it out.

 

if your getting visitors from stumbleupon and they dont stumble that page then its a little obvious they dont like the page..
from my experiance a good article,story,video or game will continue to get stumbles for months after it has been submitted

one of my sites has already passed last months stumbleupon visits of 60,000

 

most likely they stumbled an article they got from an article directory and added to a spammy blog

if your content does suck you can stumble exchange all you want but noone else will stumble it meaning no visitors
