this was my first impression when google webmaster central first release the issue about buying links last dec 2006. The post is not clear enough and never talk about web directories. Directory might discounted from Google if found or spotted selling text link. But Directory review Fee are okey! .
Thanks that you make it clear. Lots of people have misunderstanding about directories. While normal web-sites sell links --directories accept a token review fee for the time the editors spend reviewing sites. It is perfectly Ok with Google.
Yep, but for how long before Google Gods chance thier arms even with directories who claim to review as a loophole.
I couldnt have said it better the backlink will always be a very large part of search engines algo.. and Quality Network Directories will always be webmasters best choice. thx malcolm
