Hey everyone, this question is for people who make a living from websites. I have started this website racket around a year ago, and I am making a decent living from it now from running 10 websites. For those of you who make a living from websites, do you start a company name for tax/accounting purposes? If so, what do you call your company, and what do you call yourself when people ask what you do? Thanks, really appreciate it!
Anyone from Canada that does this for a living? I just feel strange making money from 10+ different websites. I would like a title. Like, I run my own internet company or something you know. I want to be called something lol. Cheers
I have made Online income is my part time imcome. I earn my online income in the form of an individual and not as a company.
I've been making an online income and paying taxes for YEARS. Taxes are super easy and simple it's just annoying paying them. You don't have to incorporate or start a business or anything simply file taxes with the I.R.S. The people paying you online like Google, CJ, Azoogle ect should be giving you what's called a 1099. This can easily be done automatically using TurboTax. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I'm not a certified public accountant or anything but I've been doing and paying my own taxes for years.
