I write articles with links to my inner pages so they can rank in nichies that have very small search results (256,000). I am stuck in the supplemental and I am seeing no benefit from the articles I have written. What could I be doing wrong?...i am sure my pages are fine from a SEO point of view
1. How long have you been submitting articles? 2. How many articles have you submitted? 3. Are you putting the anchor keywords in your bio? 4. How many article sites are you submitted to? I submit articles everyweek, I usually write 1 or 2 articles a week for each sites I have. I submit to 500 + article sites. Cheers
If you're posting the exact same article to several different sites, or if you have a lot of duplicate content aggregated from other sites on your sites, this can land you in the supplemental index. Unique content is a must when article marketing. Paul
I have used http://www.submitedge.com their article service I found them very useful to my site. Regards
I think that like every technique that comes along, it works for awhile. Then everyone jumps on the bandwagon, search engines make their adjustments, and the technique becomes less & less useful. I think it really is a huge game that we all play, and the search engines love it. =)
No point in publishing the same article in umpteen article directories. Google doesn't value this, and I'm sure none of the other search engines will value this either. Write, unique, fresh, informative articles, spin to getaround 10 - 15 variations of the same article with about 30 - 40% variation, submit each article to different article directories. Do not forget to vary the anchor text, use variations in your niche and use some trailing bum keywords too. This will help you rank better. Regards, ~G
Ok I was spinning it so every other line would be different, but so time consuming, maybe i will try a test and see
It's a good idea to get the articles listed in search engines while they are on your own site first before submitting to article directories.
Create a Google Sitemap, do the whole webmaster area on Google and Google will continuously read your pages for new content. Do what was said above "Write, unique, fresh, informative articles, spin to getaround 10 - 15 variations of the same article with about 30 - 40% variation, submit each article to different article directories. Do not forget to vary the anchor text, use variations in your niche and use some trailing bum keywords too. This will help you rank better." This was an excellent idea and I highly recommend you use Articlebot/WebSpinner/RSSGM or content solution software. Markov engines rule the web as well. You should be led out of the supplementals with a platter and you shouldn't have any problems anymore. Also, article submission still works, you just have to go about submitting in the correct and sophisticated fashion (as shown to you above by Kontent)
Is there a solution that allows you to submit different spun versions to different art directories? EG. I write a cool article and spin it into 20 different versions..I want versions 1 submitted to 20 article sites, version 2 submitted to 20 article sites, etc. That way, one article becomes 20 articlesX20 article directories= 400 inbounds? Ideas/products/services?
Eh, you would have to program that yourself/hire programmers to implement the functions of what you just put up. I also suggest that you ask those questions in http://syndk8.net/forum/. They'll have all the answers, or wait for more answers on here. The work can be done by hand but you can likely give different versions of articles sent to different article sites by using something out there. 20 different versions of an article sent to 20-200 article directories/search engines. Also, you'll get the links from those sites, but remember, if the articles read well and are informative/viral, you may be able to get MANY more links by getting the scrapers to pick the content up as well as other sites looking to use free content. Those 400 links may turn into thousands when picked up correctly by other content publishers.
how can you created 20 versions of your articles? I think maximum 5 versions because 20 versions? It is just like another content...and very2 time consuming.
