Big events coming up in the next couple of days there

Pro-Thaksin rally ‘plans to stage self-immolation’
Pro-Thaksin demonstrators plan to “stage” a self-immolation in front the headquarters Council for National security or Gen Prem Tinsulanonda, according to informed intelligence sources.

I'll keep you informed. It all starts here(Huge demo) in about 15 minutes

8.20pm : News reports from Sanam Luang said the absence of mobile satellite unit to receive the live speech of Thaksin from London had many here believing that a pre-recorded version will be played instead.

7.30pm : Keymen of now-defunct Thai Rak Thai were seen travelling out of the country, immigration source said.

Family of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra; Khunying Pojaman and two of her children; and Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, left for Singapore.

Newin Chidchob and Dr Prommin Lertsuridej left for Hong Kong but by different flights.

7.13pm : Chatuporn Prompan, a keyman of the rally said that Thaksin has responded to some reports that the Thai government may try to block the signals of his speech from London by recording his speech. But the government did not do so, Thaksin will speak live from his exiled residence.

7pm : Staffs at the Manager Media group were told to leave early as a rumor spreading that angry anti-junta protestors gathering at Sanam Luang may move and attack the group's headquarter at Phra-Athit Road which located few kilometers nearby.

Everytime some idiot blows theirself up or burns theirself it just improves the gene pool. Let's just hope they did not breed before they did it.

Too bad the wrist-cutter population won't bump it up a notch and be like the rest of the world.

"BAM! Tonight on Emerald Live we have 'Ject-ka-Bob, where we watch rejects take that old traditional fire pit and give it a new meaning! Bam!"

From emo depressed teenagers who live around my house. I have to chase them away with white colored sticks and uplifting Disco music. They always congregate near my lawn on the neighbors and play their sad clown music. So I blast in my Garage to twisted sisters or Dschinghis Khan... Not yet, but in a three months or so it might be possible. They plan to have the new constitution introduced by the end of August. I don't think it will be accepted.

If the King steps in, then things will stay under control - he is very highly respected and everyone listens to him. Otherwise, things could get nasty.

People are concerned - sometimes we see military vehicles patrolling the streets during "high-risk" days.
