this error is driving me crazy...please help...

see below...what is this??...i am trying to install a wordpress theme and its not working......please help...thnks...tony


Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebar() (previously declared in /home/tonykana/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php:36) in /home/tonykana/public_html/wp-content/themes/TripleK2/app/includes/sbm.php on line 27

 

edit sbm.php file and comment with // the line with "register_sidebar()" and try again

 

Look in the root to see if there is a copy of wp . I would delete all and start over again. May sure all copies are deleted.

 

i uploaded 2.2 to replace the old version....no idea what the hell went wrong

 

can someone look at site for me?

Are you using francisco ?(sp?)

im using wp 2.2...maybe that is the problem......not using francisco....how do i fix this?

 

I used it to setup my blogs:





Go to the bottom of your cpanel and click on fransciso and then click on wordpress to install. You have to deleted the old word press files.

 

Is the error only when trying to install the theme?

yes...triplek2....was working fine earlier...the sidebar modules werent working...so ifigured id upgrade to wp 2.2
