Thats true... The price on DP links forum is going down everyday.. I can see $10/month for PR6 links and so on. Thats devaluating the market due to people wants to make quick bucks and selling lots of links on the same page for lower price. I am getting around 15$/month from TLA ( after deducting 15$ for TLA) while dont get even $5 from digitalpoint.
Hmm...I guess either TLA or WPTextAds plugin is better; evident from the discussion here. BTW, eager to hear about LinkWorth experiences...anyone? Green reps added to all who shared helpful opinions...I expect the same from you all too
Well, if you want it to be "auto-pilot" then TLA is your friend - you simply need to get accepted and spend that 15-30 minutes to get the plugin and everything working. After that they can take care of the rest. Tip for selling links: accept 10 links for your site - I didn't see any difference in interest whether I was offering 6 or 8 or 10. Now I'm offering 10 slots via TLA, and it's fine. I believe that's also their recommendation. P.S. I'd suggest checking out my TLA story... it might give you a tip or two on how to benefit from it (like use client referrals without annoying your readers).
I think it's more about who can get the most sales for your links and not who pays the biggest percentage of the revenue share.
Hmm...I signed up and setup TLA on my WP blog using their plugin and site validated and approved by TLA. Had to edit the plugin a bit as the default outpot wasn't matching up with my site... I read your Guide...really nice (I had also been thinking of putting a sponsors page lately) Listed 10 homepage ad spots for sale and opted for per post links as well as feedvertising. Did anyone have luck with per post link sale and feedvertising?
sounds familiar Do it asap - and consider writing "sponsored blog post" once per month, where you list all the sponsors. I found it a good way to keep those sponsors paying me month after month... I have little luck with feedvertising - actually, I've never seen anyone getting one. I have couple of post link sales (hint for anybody out there wanting links... there's plenty of PR4/PR5 subpages available ), and I recently put a "selling links" thing in my signature. I'm going to see if it attracts people on these forums to go check out the offers. (at the moment it's bit difficult placement, and I had plans to put some sort of quicklinks right on the top of the page). The blog post sales that I received probably came through TLAs efforts, although I bet there are some clients who noticed the sponsoring options through my site.
I was looking at AdVolcano.com the other day, and they have multiple options including text links, so maybe check them out if you're still looking for more agencies.
I definitely have to recommend using our service, Text Link Ads. As a user of the product, I feel we have a superior product by the vast amount of advertisers we have using our company. On top of our advertisers, we have been doing this since the start and our system is better than any I've seen out there.
As said earlier, I also recommend them. Although I'm bit interested to see if this user really is behind the TLA company
Yes, I do actually work for Text Link Ads Inc. As per discussed with Shawn, I cannot disclose my actual identity, sorry. Feel free to confirm with Shawn though that I am a legal representative of Text Link Ads Inc.
Legal reasons and per request of management. Just the way it has to be. Thanks for the welcome, good to be here.
I use TLA for my anniversary gift website (PR5). Just signed up a few weeks ago, and already 5 of 10 spots are filled. Very pleased.
Ahhh.......I know who you are , They just don't want you to say who you are since you are also a "regular" member as well
TLA is ass. I tried selling links on there with my high traffic gaming site. Took them two months, I finally had someone buy a link. I login to my account only to find the link value TLA put was $3. I was pissed, called them, and told them to delete my account. I have been happy ever since.
