Ok so this is the first time I have ever used adsense. I generated code, but I decided that I might want to change the link color, border color, and bgcolor. Would I have to regenerate the entire code, or can I just alter the code by hand? I just dont know if google allows us to change the code by hand...? thanks

I definately would just re generate it - it's not worth the risk!
You could also ask google but you might just be sent a generic "don't edit our code!" reply...

You can't change the code by hand, but you can change the color, border, color and bg color by using the settings on the Adsense For Content set up page. Tweaking code is not allowed.

I change the colors of my ads all the time. No need to generate an entirely new code with adsense, just edit it by hand. I think that is the only aspect of the code that you can get away with editing though. Just make sure you don't accidentally edit anything else!

So yes, editing colors by hand is OK! :)

It doesn't really matter, but make sure you don't screw up anything else in the code. Colours only ;)

You could regenerate the code again, but I'm sure that many people would just change the color in the code is they knew the actual color codes to add
