I started it as a hobby with a friend and then realized the earning potential. Its still one of my hobbies but hope to make it a full time job with my growing earnings.

Addiction :p I can't speak for all because I'm only a part time designer (full time student, it's hard to do both!). For hmmmm I think it's really hard to do this full time and earn a steady income  atleast that's how I see it!

I spend about as much time on the internet to make a living out of it, but I just can't charge people as much as some other people do. Thats why I started my free forum design site. I dont mind doing the work for free, thats the problem with me. One day, perhaps, Ill start charging people...until then, I obviously can't make a living out of it. *opens newspaper to look for job*

Working online has been a dream of mine for the last 7 years and things are finally starting to pay off now:) I expect to go fulltime at the end of this year or sometime next year depends how things go, but the reason is not for the money but to enjoy my life as much as possible and have the freedom.
