Lol! There are many other human interpolations in the Bible too. And a Christian scholar said, "I don't know why God put it in there." Not realizing the fact that it has been edited by people beyond return. And as for the topic, the verse people refer to, it is about the land because the land you stand on is flat. Don't people use length x breadth for area of land? But when talking about the earth, it says, "Allah has made the earth egg-shaped". Thank you very much.
Be careful, I didn't say Bible says world was flat (neither I didn't say Bible wouldn't have said). I was referring to the fact that earth has been considered flat until somebody 500 years ago started thinking alternative ideas. And sketching bible naturally means "Thats when you read the bible wearing a pair of trendy shoes." like mentioned earlier.

sounds like the earth is some form of a sphere. I don't know how this should be measured in the scheme of everything.
some say in history man used to believe that the earth was round or some form of a sphere (not sure about the prescion of things), then things changed and everyone was about the earth being flat then of course it changed back 500 years ago.
