When can I see any backlinks updated?

Hi, i know we need to wait more than 2 months for google next PR update, but I want to ask how frequently google/yahoo indexed our backlinks? I have checked my backlinks from yahoo from one tools but I can't find all my backlinks listed there, why is that?

 

Yahoo needs to spider the sites that your backlinks are on before it can list them. Until it spider's the sites, it doesn't know you've got backlinks there.

As for Google, they're just pathetic when it comes to listing your backlinks

I wouldn't worry about it too much just continue with your link building.

 

If you're trying to get Google's backlinks count make sure you use their Webmaster Tools. It much more up to date that the "link:" operator.

 

Not really, the webmaster tools for my site showed only the first seven backlinks for the past four month It's only just been updated to include backlinks up until June 2 2007 Probably take another four months for it to update

 

Yahoo updates pretty quickly, like everyday

Google takes their time maybe a few months.

 

Yeah, I always use Yahoo to check my backlinks.

 

google does not shows the real time backlinks counts. you must use different tools like google webmaster tools to see your links

 

I think Yahoo is already updating back links everyday.
