Hi friends! Can anybody tell me which is the best language( html, asp, php.......) to build a site in. I am new to this technical stuff. I have one blog and I want to build a site on my own if there is a good software available for building website for a reasonal price. I hear that "Site Build It" is good. If you know any good stuff about building site, please let me know.

PHP seems a little bit easier to be learned as compared with ASP or JSP.
    Suggest PHP as many goodies.

I think metalstein gave good advice. Think in terms of how much updating you'll be doing to the website, some portions of the website may only need to be HTML, whereas blogs, news, etc. should contain some PHP code probably. If you are unsure, you should write down all the things you want your website to contain, write down websites you like the look/feel of, then post in the services/programming and design sections to get price quotes.

If you want to start learning you've to start with HTML. after that it would help a lot if you also learn CSS but it's not necessary!then depending on what features you think you'll need you can learn PHP!
but i think a CMS(Content Management System) will do you the best. you'll just install it on your host give thing such as your site's name, slogan and etc. and you'll have a site that you can add Blog, Forum, Image gallery and much more to it later! there is also administration section that you can add/edit/delete stuff on your site and manage your site easily!
