My First iPod Experience... I would die for it :-)

I recently bought a new iPod and I was hearing songs and watching some music videos. It has nice 30GB storage and a crisp screen.

I thought that it was unpractical to watch entire full length movies on the iPod. But anyway I had put a download of iRobot Movie at night 9.00 PM and went off to sleep a little later. Then I woke up at 3.00 AM to have some water. I could not resist coming to the PC to check whether the movie finished downloading. It did finish and loaded it to my iPod to check whether it was good enough. Guess what , I was not able to take the eyes off my iPod and I watched the full movie until 5.00 AM

Now I have decided to see all my favorite films on the iPod again.

No eye strain and you forget that you are watching movie on a small screen!

Well, a movie costs $9.99 in iTunes store, I can afford to buy but I am in India.. so i cant. If you have any ideas about other sources of movies for iPod let me know.

Anyone reading this post should buy an iPod soon if u dont have one.. There is no meaning of life without enjoying it!

ipods are amazing. It seems like you're making good use of your ipod ;) The quality of the image must be super crisp considering it's a small screen! The sound of the music is amazing too eh? ipods rock :D

You coudl always take your DVD's and put them on your ipod. Videria or however you spell it Ipod Converter works well for converting video files to ipod easily.

Also, I love my shiny black ipod too :) However...for movies, the best device you can posibly get is the Nintendo DS. Run Moonshell, a homebrew application, on it and you have a video player that can last 10+ hours straight...you really can't beat that. I watch videos on my ipod too though.

iPod means Apple. Other gadgets pretending to be iPods are fake. There are no real iPods without apple's logo!

For those who bought iPod nano - you could have added a $50 and got 26 GB Extra storage and movie feature.

In short : Ipod Rockz ;):)

You can convert the normal .avi files to Ipod format and then just add em to the ipod and you can watch em .

I have a Motorola E815 phone that I use for movies, cable TV, MP3, video recorder, camera etc etc. But found I didn't use the movies much.

I like the idea of using a Nintendo portable for movies though.
