I don't believe women are treated badly as a whole here on DP...

There may be one or two retards floating around that get their jollies from insulting women, but I am a woman and I have NEVER been treated poorly by any male on this forum.

I've never been treated badly or in a sexist way on this forum, but then I've only been around since earlier this year... so I guess there's time yet.

 

While I'm sure there are some sexist people on this forum... the majority of the "sexist" comments I come across are obvious jokes and NOT meant to be taken seriously.

I for one have definitely not experienced any "abuse" on this forum by any male Dp member. As a matter of fact, most have been nothing but kind and respectful towards me.

Webbie, it's not difficult to put him on your ignore list at all. In fact, it's a great idea. If someone's comments are bothering you (and it's obvious they are merely trying to upset you) then PUT THEM ON IGNORE. Simple.

Don't create a thread about it and use that as your basis for declaring all men evil, sexist pigs.

 

I think Sammie has been very fair in most instances and I agreed with her on many ocassions. We even had a little war in one thread on some male female issue.

I know that she was raped at some point as a teen and she is still young so, time to heal. . There is obviously some unresolved anger and it's not really my place to tell someone when they should get over something like that, but GET OVER IT!

Like I posted before she sucks her finger in her picture and has some anger towards guys and a very defensive nature for girls and women because of her victimization. She is a bit of a provocateur.

I am so sick to death of women being victims forever and ever. The way I see it women have an equal role in the world and equal power to create thier own destiny. In fact sometimes women have most of the power, especially in western culture.

Women call almost all the shots in romance/reproduction/sex & advertising is geared towards women cause they spend most of the money....and really when when you get down to it theres not much left for guys to control.

Sammie I understand why.....but I just wish you could get over it and move on.....

I really hope you are kidding. I don't know where you're from, but neither do I care. But for you to say we need to ignore injustice is like saying that Hitler's killing of 6 Million Jews was no big deal, because hey ... it was his country and his laws.

Sorry, I might make some dumb jokes here and there, but all in all I try to treat women with respect. Unlike the male citizens in many of the Muslim countries.
