    Hi ...

    What do u think it's the best way to work on backward links?
    If I have weeks to spend on it - probably I would do so, but this is not the situation. My time is short.

    -Directories?
    -Searching google for top-PageRank related website and make a link exchange?
    -Install a link exchanging script and call webmaster to exchange links with you?

    I am looking for the short & effective way to get maximum links...
    What is your approach...?

    Probably the quickest way would be to purchase links. Didn't say if you have a budget or not...

    A few ways......

    Submit to directories.

    Go to Google and search for :

    keyword "submit site"
    keyword "add site"
    keyword "add url"
    keyword "submit site"
    ect.

    Then just go through and find free site submission that are relevant to your site.

    Also you can...

    Go to Yahoo or MSN, Not Google

    Search for "Submit Link | Latest Links" with the quotes.

    This will bring up every site (directory) that uses the net famous free software phplinkdirectory (that hasnt modified the code much). These directories are SEO friendly (meaning uses mod_rewrite and doesnt use a 302).

    If you want to narrow it down some just to find your niche then of course search for:

    "Submit Link | Latest Links" niche keyword

    You may have to do some digging to get some with good PR but you will find some.

    Almost forgot to add this,

    Search on Yahoo/MSN
    "Submit Link | Latest Links" -"*Reciprocal Link URL:" "*Your Name:" (you get more results if you leave off the "*Your Name:"

    That will bring up all the directories on the submission page that DONT require a link back. This advice is worth $23.87 please send via paypal. ;)

    Hi everyone,
    This is where I am at with my website. Trying to find all the different ways of gaining some backlinks. I've written a PR and submitted it and I even got a reply from a perfect stranger saying how much they enjoyed reading it but alas, that (praise) isn't enough. I'm also trying to up my posts here so I can get my signature. Only seven more to go. No wonder I couldn't find it before :)
