Submitted my site + Payment to yahoo webdirectory 8 days ago...

and still haven't heard back from them.
I paid $299 bucks and the site i submitted is 100% within their guidelines. Do they even look at the site or just take your money and throw your mail away?

 

i received approval notice from yahoo after 6th days of my payment and listed in the catagory no 8th days.. good luck to you..

ok, site is listed now i see.
But haven't received a confirmation from them.
Oh well, I got what I paid for so.

I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but for that site i submitted, google traffic increased by 50% only a few days after getting listed.

Well, I doubt it has anything to do with it actually. I optimized all my pages and bought alot of quality links a few weeks ago. So that's probably the reason.

But, I still think the yahoo listing will be a good deal.
I'm waiting for yahoo traffic to increase.

The directory itself hardly sends any visitors. But that's kinda obvious

wow i didnt know yahoo had a paid directory, I knew they had a free one.

 

Well...they only offer free listings to non-profit organizations within certain categories. Most categories are not free.
