Best Way to Get Top Rankings in Google

Do you know the best way to get your keywords listed in the first page of Google other than the most common strategies used such as directory and article submission, forum posting, blogging, free classifieds posting? What are the other methods that you think is effective?

 

social networking...u can submit ur site to social networking site to drive traffic...but if u want it to get indexed fast then place it in ur signature link here hope that helps

 

Yeah, I've already did it. Social bookmarking sites such as Digg and Del.icio.us is a big help. Is there anything else?

 

I think all the Pharmacy traders on internet are spammers. Just my opinion so don't be angry...

 

Buy relevant, high pr, quality links with your keywords as anchor text

My site's already PR 3 and I use my target keywords as anchor text in every posting or submission. I also link with relevant websites.

have you tried the social bookmark sites? you can also check the sticky thead on link development forums

 

Go for Social Media Optimzation, it will increase your visibility and traffic.

 

Forget Social Media sites, your website is not suited for them. Use a service like Adwords, buy keywords for the drugs you sell and it'll drive targeted traffic to your site.

• Advertise in your local area with flyer's
• Get an advert printed in magazines and newspapers.
• Buy adverts on large medical websites.
• Go to Medical events and hand out business cards

Putting your links on a social media site is not going to do you any good, kids and young teens generally don't buy medication online, it's rubbish traffic. Don't waste your time promoting to an audience that will never use your services.

I assume you're really into making a success of this site, so you'll do the above, a lot of people just wouldn't bother and thats why they usually don't make it.

 

Get links night and day don't stop. In a competitve market like your you will need a lot of quality links.

 

It ain't going to be easy - that market is very competitive. Roll up the sleeves and plug away - like bigbadwolf said.

 

Get site review with your keyword surrounding your link in the review article. The higher the PR reviewing you site the better. You'll be surprise with your rank if got lots of reviews compare to links only.

Do you update your sites/pages regularly? i suggest you update once a week your site/pages.. create some "news flash" about your great products then post it in your pages you want to rank well.. search engine loves rich and updated content!

 

By far article submission is the most "accepted" proven method in SEO. What must be understood is that approved and supported article submission sites have existed prior to the elevation of search engines and are accepted also by these search engines as reputable providers of valuable content, and they prove it time and time again, also news groups fall into these categories. I use article marketeer who scrutinise my submissions extensively from keyword density to proper letters in the titles to the number of paragraphs. When these articles are approved they are in pristine conditions. They are then submitted over a period of time to all the best know article directories and news groups. I would also further modify these articles with different anchor text per 10 directories/new groups.

I would take a subject matter and write up modified articles with the same anchor text per 10 articles and distribute them to anything between 10 - 1000 directories/news groups and build anything upto a thousand links with the variety of targeted keywords. Depending on the niche you could be looking at 3 - 18 months for results, the far end due to a heavy competitive keyword.

I am experimenting with a new method that does involve an element of web 2.0 and it is not submitting to social network sites,etc. Search engines are not going to give you a high serp for a review on 'apples iphones' even if you get 1000 diggs and your server is on over flow, it just does not work like that, unless those diggs convert to backlinks also.
I am pretty confident that this method is extremely effective as I have seen the keyword 'pregnancy' reach #3 in google for a site and it was due to this one method. I think it can work for any site+keyword

Yeah, article submissions is a great help. I use my target keywords in the content of each article and also as the anchor text in the resource box.

By the way, what's that new method you've been experimenting with? could you share some of it with us?
