Thanks primarily to the help I've received here at Digital Point, I just passed the first million hits on my website. I came to DP as a total novice concerning SEO, kept my eyes and ears open, and put into practice what I've learned from many of you. I extend my sincere appreciation to the many who have volunteered helpful info. When I first began my website at the tender age of 61, I knew virtually nothing about SEO. It was an interesting adventure learning from people often 40+ years younger. It is true: you're never too old to learn. Now the website is getting about 3,000 hits daily — far beyond my wildest expectations. I attribute much of that to applying good SEO techniques, on-page and off-page. Thanks again to all the helpful posters on this forum. Keep it up!
Well congrats. Your an older boomer than me but may I learn from you someday keep up the good SEO! DP has taught me a few good things.
Congratulation Jim. That's an excellent achievement. Can you share some key learnings here with us ;-) That will help me to learn more. I m new to DP and I am looking forward to learn more from all of you.
Very nice Jim. Congratulations. I second your praise of DP. I have learned quite a bit by reading the forums on a regular basis and applying the techniques to my sites.
How much time did it take for you to get to 3000 hits a day? Is it all coming from search engines organic traffic? Congratulations though..!!
