    Hello,

I submitted my website 3 months ago into the open directory dmoz but my site still isn't added into the directory.
Does anyone have any idea why my site still isn't added into this directory?

    Thanks,
    ameran

Do you get any e-mail from dmoz after you added your website?

I didn't get anything as a sign that they have gotten my submission. :(

Just look in the dmoz forum, they're too busy arguing amongst themselves and infighting to actually approve submissions in any sort of viable time scale. You'll have forgotten you submitted it long before you actually see it listed - if at all.

use the dmoz category. this is the wrong forum for this question.

and for your question, they have different criterias for adding the link. i think you must be lucky for having a link on dmoz. one of my site is accepted in 10 days to the dmoz but the other one did not become accepted for one year

It can take years for a link to be accepted. It all depends on whether there is an active editor in the category - and whether your submission is in the right one.
