Technorati ranks - how come some of my links don't show up?

I just convereted my gaming blog from a custom coded cms site to a wordpress blog; however, when I go to technorati to view the links to my blog it only shows a few obscure links from other sites.

Why does it only show those links when I have links from nearly all of my video game based websites on their indexes to my blogs url? Does it only count links that go to direct posts on my blog and not the main url?

 

Have the other blogs that link to you been claimed by their owners at Technorati?

 

They aren't blogs, they're forums or static html websites.

 

they are a "blog" SE so they don't show link outside of blog (sometime they do , may be by mistake)

 

ahkip is quite right. Technorati monitors blogs, not static pages or forums (usually). Also if you've changed the domain name of your site or any of the URL's that were previously linked to they'll be dead and Technorati might not recognize them at all.

When people add your blog to technorati as a favorite does it improve the ranking?
