Hi, I just wanted to know that there are many ppl in DP who offer cheap directory submissions. e.g 1000 directory submissions for $30-40. How they just do it? Manually it takes alot of time, and they mention that dont use any automated softwares. And completion time is just within 3-4 days. Do they really submit sites honestly or its just waste of money. And almost all of them are from India. Do indian have any special trick? Thanks
Labour is cheap in India. Directory submissions don't require much skills. You can find people to do that kind of work for 150-200$ a month...that's 5$-7$ a day.
There is nothing related to Indian.. Most of may be using semi-automatic tool - InFormEnter plugin for Firefox. It can be easily done with such tool.
Not only is labor cheap so is cost of living compared to North America etc... 3$ a day over there is decent pay. Here it's not even lunch! If you can make good $ online and move somewhere with cheap cost of living it's the equivalence of making 10-20X income here lol. That's a thought!
I'm also using InFormEnter plugin, but still how can they complete it to 1000 directories in that much time, you need some rest though. And you mentioned Semi-automatic tool. Can you tell me which one except informenter
3$ is an exaggeration.. decent pay in India would be at least $10 a day. Just my electricity and internet bills add up to 60$ a month.

You must be living in a good city and have broadband connection for such a cheap rate. The other day I paid $300 for 2 months Telephone+Internet bill ( I have only one option --the age old BSNL dial up as I live in a Big village of around 130,000 people). Waiting for broadband for a long time--yet to get started @ OP --yes you question is valid and with my connection I can only submit to 60-70 directories per day even with Roboform. But most of those people who offer the service have small Companies employing 5-50 people just to these jobs. The bosses take orders -and the employees process them. Its not bad --as if I have a company and employ -10 people --and I have monthly revenue of $2-3 K --thats perfect.
The best and cheapest way to do it is on your own! Use Roboform and click away... I submit to about 10 to 15 directories a day and it only takes me about 10 mininutes or so a day! This is the easiest task in the whole world so why not do it yourself. Save the money for paying a designer or programmer to build you a nice site or tools.
I used Directory Submitter for my site and it was free. It took me about 3 days to submit to over 200 sites. I have about 200 more to go but I'm only doing it for 2-3 hours per day. Not to bad if you ask me.
I believe that they are good you do in moderation If your website is new then you may want to limit the exposure within the first 3 months and ony do a few hundred then wait a month or so and do a few more but not to exceed 1000 in the sites first few months of existance so it doesnt look funny to google and other search engines... thx malcolm
