How do you make an eBook?

What software do I need to make an eBook?

I know I can't write it in Notepad. I know it's opened in Adobe Acrobat.

I want to know what program I need to write it in.

 

if its a pdf document then you need to use adobe products to create it

or alternatively use pdf995 which is a free way of converting items to PDF

I have used activ ebook compiler in the past and thought this was the best way to make ebooks aswell as the easiest

 

You can use a program like open office i think which converts it to a PDF file, or you can get a piece of software which acts like a printer and prints it to a PDF file, there are also online converters which are quite good.

 

Adobe products? Does that automatically come with Adobe Acrobat?

use office 2007 it can save your documents as pdf files just with a plugin.

 

You can use a pdf creater software.But try to lookout for software which also has a password like thing , so that no one tries to easily copy your file.
