    Hello,

What do you think is the market price for an Administrative Assistant in the US???

    $8-10/hour?

    Thanks!

It probably depends WHERE in the US you're looking. Also, experience level comes into play. Try http://salary.com/ for a good place to start.

Thanks for the great site, webmasterlabor.com!!!

Do you by any chance know where they get their data? How accurate is this data? I never seem to have much faith in these salary stats.

ie: Stanford MBAs starting salary, something like $166k/yr...

    It's inflated, don't you think?

But thanks again! It seems like we see each other in the same conversations..

    :)

I'm not exactly sure but if I were running a site like salary.com I'd be sure to make my figures reflect two sources: private sector placement agencies' salary ranges as well as salary range figures sourced from government statistical resources.

it all depends what company and who is the person working for. for example executive administrative assistance can take home 6 figures while another can make about 30k a year.

yep. depends. but for low-mid level, about 15 an hour should suffice.
most teenagers in the us are paid $10 an hour
