Hi, I'm currently thinking about selling some links on my blog with strong ranking and PR and looking for suggestions on the best agencies to sell text links. I dont want to negotiate with the advertiser, manage payments etc and all such stuff. What I need is : just register with a service, add my site details, embed their php code into my site and get payments to my paypal account monthly. There are some agencies like TLA, Linkworth, Backlinks.com and so on. Which of these is good enough, takes the lowest revenue cut and overall high payment ? Please suggest and share your experiences. Thanks
TextLinkAds.com is good, even though they take 50% - they do a good job in the service, and pay good affiliate fees ($25 per referred publisher/client). For selling directly (0% cut ), check out stuff like: http://www.wptextads.com And... naturally there's always the DP's buy/sell/trade forums to sell link.
I personally like AdEngage. They only take 25% and their customer service has been outstanding. Any dumb question I have they will happily answer in a timely manner. I have had great success both buying and selling with them so far...
Yep - my site just recently sold 11 out of 10 links (heh, not sure if it's a bug, but I'm not complaining)
I had good success with TLA as well. I was getting a text link sold every few days. The 50% take sucks, but they seem to be able to sell quickly.
Well, I really like the WPTextAds plugin...but too pricy for a single license! More suggestions and discussions welcome.
Adsung is a solution. When they launch they will offer ppc giving users 85% and paying via paypal but they will be implementing cpm, ppa as well in the near future.
Heh...I just saw it on the other thread you posted. When you recommend something, ensure it works fully and has some potential. Seems like you're doing useless self promo for nothing!
you can use it free to sell 2 links per page/post, so perhaps start with the free version - and when more buyers are coming, sell more slots. textlinkads.com requires PR4, and at least "some kind of" Alexa ranking
TLA link value calculator estimates $32/month for a every text link on homepage of my site. What kind of money can I get in practice? Is that after TLA fees?
Personally I can't understand why someone would share 50% with TLA when we have: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58
They would take 50%. So, if you'd sold one link, you'd make $16 per month per link. With 10 links, that could be $160. (it might take some time though to get all the links sold). I suppose selling 4-5 links per month *could* be something to expect pretty soon... but again - it all depends on your site (and how many ads and traffic you get and so on) Don't forget that you can sell to individual blog posts, and definitely don't forget the $25 affiliate program - per referred publisher or client - that TLA offers.
