Yes most of the directories saying PR4 or PR5 or PR6 only having fake page ranks!!!! I do buy dropped domains But I would never sell a directory! I would use it for link building to my directory as a single link from a PR4 or PR5 site(only single outbound link) to your main directory is more valuable than any other thing!
I do buy dropped domains But I would never sell a directory! I would use it for link building to my directory as a single link from a PR4 or PR5 site(only single outbound link) to your main directory is more valuable than any other thing! From what I have seen almost all dropped domains lose at least 1 or 2 of their PR on the next update so what benifit is it for you?
We should buy dropped domains that will not drop PR I have a domain www.west2002.org It has two .gov backlinks!!! Also dropped domains will drop PR only If their back links are also removed, if their back links are stable they also would have stable and same PR you can buy a dropped PR4 domain like this for only $20 A single same outbound link from PR is more valuable for $20 rather than paying $5-10 for each month with 10 outbound links! see www.annexagain.com I bought nearly 6 months ago It has the same PR2 from that I linked a www.webcolor.org which has PR1 now!!! like this!
totally agreed, there is no free lunch in the universe. i prefer a paid, even on web or domain hosting
"see www.annexagain.com I bought nearly 6 months ago It has the same PR2 from that I linked a www.webcolor.org which has PR1 now!!! like this!" I don't think that works with higher page rank domains, PR4+, for sure not with PR5+ You can get a PR2 by just submitting to a few decent free directories or from one PR3 link, so your example is not very realistic.
i will join the paid one as all free lunch will have some limitation on services at a later time. How to get money to support the monthly expenses? think yourself...................
I agree that these duped domain concept can make u some money.. But u cannot succeed with these ideas on a long run.
ok, suppose someone did this! sold someone that directory! the fallen domain had about PR4[an example]! then after a month or two it got dropped to 2, but then the person who bought the directory was dedicated and kept the links and worked hard for the directory. after 6 months or say one year, the directory got a huge traffic and nice pr! say that directory become a strong and reputed directory! so the possibility always exist! If you buy a directory, then will you delete all featured links in it! so, why assume the worst!
I follow a simple, two-part submission procedure: 1) I submit daily to the free directories offered here at Digital Point. Sure, many of them go nowhere. But some have grown well and have provided me some valuable (and sometimes high PR) links. So it's worth the time and effort to me. 2) I generally limit my paid directory submissions to directories owned by established, respected DP members. That has proven to be a safe and effective practice.
i agree with that, and do try and follow the same pattern for spending my money, but i have took some chances and bought into some unknown directory sites and it has worked out well for me,not to say that somewhere down the line my link may or may not get deleted somehow

The world is full of endless possibilities....it does not change the fact that the all the above including the buyer were duped. Lying by ommission is still a lie and selling something without revealing something as important as it being a dropped domain is dishonest.
Here is a free directory that you can submit your site to with confidence www.keyword-pages.com. It is not a dropped domain and the pr is not fake, just check the contact us, about us and guidelines pages. I was going to launch this with a different idea in mind so there are about 48 category pages that have pr4 but I have deleted those categories and started from scratch. So if you are not listed yet then feel free to do so. I am sure some of you know how I promote so you can expect the same with this directory as well. Just give it some time and I will make it a strong directory. I already have banner advertising spots on www.directorycritic.com, http://info.vilesilencer.com/forum/ and http://www.web-directories.ws/ and I am trying to work out a few other deals with some other well established sites also.
