This is the way I researched it too and thats the way I train also! I laugh my head off because at my gym their are guys that train everyday, most of them never do legs or back, only chest and arms mostly. Going everyday imagine how f#$% up their bodies are going to look
You can not do a one system fits everyone which is exactly what you are doing. Many champions in the sport lift almost daily, some lift multiple times a day. Bench press champs only work the chest for the most part, they build one section and are not 'body builders' 3-4 times might be ok for one but it is not ok for everyone. I'd put my knowledge of lifting and my lifts up against yours any day of the week If you space your workouts enough your body parts will have plenty of time to recover. I hit 1 main body part a session. Chest/Upper Back/Legs with lower back/Shoulders/Arms on my standard lifting routine. I am the biggest and strongest guy at my gym but yeah I should be one of the 3-4 a day lifters who can't even hold up my jock strap. The guy who lifts during the time I lift is probally the best overall shaped guy in the gym and overall one of the strongest, he lifts at least 5-6 times a week.. Alot depends on your genetics and your nutrition. Don't lift if you're sore, I don't lift when sore in most cases and have absolutely no problem with lifting 5 or more days a week. The few times I've been forced to lift 3 or 4 times instead of my normal routine I have lost strength. Well if you train the same body parts every day that is just dumb, I laugh at those guys as well. A bit different from lifting almost every day compared to lifting often wisely.
Same goes here Just I don't put to much stress to it so I haven't developed that fast yet. I just go gym to waste time really
Leave it to "The Specialist" Ladies and gentleman, Presenting to you, "YOGRIM - The Back-ache Fart Warrior"...
Lmao Yes they are going to look like gorillas very soon GRIM its not my knowledge against yours buddy this is not the point .
I understand that, however my point was the 3-4 day rule is not for everyone. That is posted in many magazines, many serious lifters laugh at those types of postings. Much of that 3-4 routine is also for hard gainers, guys who are sticks to begin with. I've also read studies that lifing once a month can gain muscle, more so even than lifting weekly. It depends much on your genetics, your diet, your routine, etc, etc. For me and many others who can pack on muscle and recover easily more = more within reason
And you are a BigBadWolf! You would probably find the slowest and most unfit Buffalo in the herd, and have it for dinner!
Nothing, zilch, nada. I have free weights that I use to reduce my stress. Works great to reduce stress.
same here , im more comfrotable working out at home , not to mention you don't gotta drive anywhere and it's free too
At the gym the provide towels though, clean up after you to an extent. It's actually cheaper for me to go to the gym, by the time I clean/heat/cool my workout area that I have, all the equipment I bought, etc, etc the gym is a steal!
I pay $ 30 but I've also got 2 closed basketball courts a closed pool and an outdoor pool. Their are some other options like yoga, tai-chi, dancing etc, all for the same price...although I just use the gym and the closed pool
I pay about 20$...for a year ! .. In the Technion - in Israel , the Gym is almost free for the students .
