Maybe you should study AGS's posts & then form an opinion about his overall attitude & beliefs shown in those posts:p

It appears to me that you are showing conventional weapons and not WMD's. It is clear, however, that the US did support Iraq during their war, financially and politically. We wanted revenge for the over throw of the Shah in the late 70's.

Russia, or the Warsaw Pact countries also had a reasom for supporting Iraq, they invaded Afganistan. Since Iran was helping the Afgan people to throw out the Russians it made sense to support a country that wanted war with Iran.

Anyhow, this is off topic. There is a problem with the US's image and policies internationally. That is not good. Great Albania loves Bush, Russia has a problem with Bush's missle defence system in Europe. That is a significant problem, the last thing the world needs is another cold war or nuclear build up....I thought that is what we wanted to get rid of?

No need to, I know that just because he dislikes GWB it does not make him a terrorist. Did he say he supports terrorists anywhere or that he is a member of OBL group?

The argument is not about whether the US "supported" Iraq, but in what capacity and quantity. Clearly, some would have us believe that the US was 110%, the sole provider of weapons to Iraq, which is clearly not the case.

Fact is, those distinctions go to France, Russia and China. Odd how each of these three countries are also against the war now. Ironic how these three countries stood to lose the most. Sad how these three countries motive was money and oil, not freedom.

    Keep on denying the facts.

You don't need to because you have already formed an opinion even though you admit to not reading all his posts. That opinion you formed is that he hates Bush, which is correct but not the be all & end all;)

[Mocking] No need to, I know that just because he dislikes America & defends terrorists that he supports them, it's like kiddy maths 1 + 1 = (it ain't 3;)).

Nah seriously read the guys posts.

Numerous admissions have been made that arms were supplied illegally and sub rosa to Saddam. Are you choosing to ignore those "facts"?

I despise all terrorists including Bush and Cheney.

TWO PACKS makes some really stupid posts mate, that is why I have him on permanent ignore. :)

The only time I see his posts is if someone quotes him.

How much is enough to share in culpability?

I'm trying to understand at what altitude the moral high ground starts.

Um, your history shows you defend and support terrorists. Bush and Cheney are only terrorists in your alex jones delusionally controlled mind. In fact, you've refused on numerous occasions to even say a bad word about a terrorist and simply ran away.

Don't be dishonest, AGS. We know...

You should take the blame yourself and hold yourself responsible.

The same people that try to dishonestly portray the US as the big supplier of saddam (despite documented evidence that shows we were 1%) are the same ones that cry because we took him out. Cry one way, cry another...but most certainly...cry.

    I do hold myself responsible.

Now back to discussion, I'm wondering if you have looked up the source for that chart, and if you know whether it includes only "reported" transactions, or also includes the "documented" 3rd party and covert transactions?

That's good! Most self-loathers with low self-esteem rarely ever hold themselves accountable for anything. They dole out blame for everyone else, like AGS.

Now that you've accepted responsibility for something you are not sure took place, case closed.

Will you take responsibility for Russia, France, China (gee, I can't imagine why they turned their backs on us in the UN vote...cough...corruption...cough...money to lose), Czech, Poland, Brazil, Egypt and the others? If so, we can wrap this up real quick!

Sorry, I'm not going to do your work for you. If you want to present evidence while ignoring other evidence, you do not need my permission.

I hope I am understanding you correctly. You presented evidence but are unable to discuss it in depth or provide links to the source?

And I expect such a higher standard from you.

If you had read through the post, you would see the source. Not only did I previously supply it, but briant also tried to blame America first with a link from Wiki that had the same chart.

No, you do not understand correctly. You were asking me to do your work for you. If you want to counter it, if you want to provide opposing evidence in order to quench your thirst for making 1% seem like the evil, by all means, do so. I won't do your work for you, though.

I should expect such a standard from you?

But GTech, I tried the URL in the chart and it comes up 404.

Surely you checked the source information out before posting that chart?

I've seen the data from the Wikipage. I know where it came from. I also know that this can be found on the site that compiles this data.

    http://www.sipri.org/contents/milap/milex/aprod/transparency.html

Hmmm, annual reports only since 1996 (well after the invasion of Kuwait) and a lack of a "single comprehensive report".

So I'll ask again. Do you believe the statistics you are citing include all transactions, above and below board with Saddam Hussein?

And please stop dancing. You are making a hole in the rug. :)
