I'm thinking about starting up a website through Joomla and I'd like to see examples of how much my site can be customized.
Check out 1. themesclub dot com- Offer some some free template. 2. joomlacrib dot com - Extension Community 3. show themescrib dot com - you can see some free template showcase.
Hi, I am really interested in this list as it grows. I would be particularly interested if forum members would also relate the precise reasons they chose Joomla, e.g. for a particular plugin, because they thought it was cool, because a developer recommended it, etc. Also if you are on version 1, have you tested your site with legacy mode turned on. Thanks and on with the list! Rich
www.linkinparkmania.uni.cc I have a gallery and am not yet finished adding all the information but you get the idea
www.geekgods.net It's the first domain I ever purchased and now I can't seem to ever be satisfied with what I do with it....argh...
I made site with wishes and greetings : www.zyczenia24.info.pl it's uses only several additional mods and components, and small hacks in core. I am specially pleased with rating system implementation (I am using hacked jcvote plugin) and with function "sort by rating" (vanilla version of joomla is lacking this very useful functionality) Greg PS. Site gets from 5000 to 10000 uu per day and everything works very smooth on good virtual server but with cache component (from www.joomlatwork.com)
I have bunches of Joomla sites but here are a few www.pets9.com www.mypet-memorial.net www.templatesinc.com www.ehswrestling.com www.realityportal.net (for sale)
Check out my anniversary gift site in my sig. One somewhat off-topic but neat tidbit: I purchased the template for this site from joomlashack.com, and I just happened to notice that their testimonial page is a PR6! Of course, I spent some time writing a thorough testimonial, and they published it! I've been on the first page of their testimonial page for at least a month and a half now--getting the PR6 goodness. More businesses should do this. Thanks, Paul
Of course, I just rechecked joomlashack.com to see if I was still on their testimonial page, and they've changed the site. Figures. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Paul
