I think there is huge bad impact cause this law. India has the world’s highest number of HIV-positive cases with an estimated 5.7 million people infected, according to the United Nations. most people get into unsafe sex by fear of law or get caught by police
Actually low education level, and unawareness towards sex are major factors after HIV. And Sex education is something considered untouchable, if you talk about our govt's education policies.
Sex education is still a big taboo over here. Most politicians in India and most of third world prefer ignorance over education.
