Yeah, why should you care what they think? Get high marks for yourself, not others.

    Congrats anyways :)

For higher education like B-tech, BIT passing marks are set to 50 out of 100 here in India.

Do you have a career plan? or just going to hit random stuffs?

Duh, he is just 14... he should have actually been in the 8th Standard and he has passed 10th! Thats a great thing actually. The percentage is 45 btw. He calculated it wrong.

Me on the other hand passed as well at the age of 15. But my percentage is higher.

    English: 82/100
    Word Processing: 75/100
    Psychology: 73/100
    Hindi: 70/100
    Economics: 59/100

    Percentage: 71.8%

I'm in the Merit list as well :D. NOS is damn hard guys... I managed to rank 3rd in the entire District.

You must not study for congrats, You must do it for yourself.. Having a good background knowledge upto 12th standard is necessary. You get a good background, then sky is the limit. You can do any other education when you want but not 10th and 12th..Besides I know open schooling, those people who couldn't pass in CBSE could get through NIOS easily. So, my advice is for you to concentrate on studies and do it better on your 12th..

Do you even fucking know any fucking thing about NIOS? Go read some NIOS books before saying anything about how EASY it is... idiot.

NIOS IS DAMN HARD AND IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL, in fact its harder than CBSE. Its a myth that people who cannot pass through CBSE pass through NIOS. Which was created when in the early 2000's in a few NIOS exams cheating was practiced all over the country, but not these days! Try to cheat and they'll blacklist your entire future.

In CBSE, you have to study the half syllabus from one book of one class, in NIOS, you have to study the COMPLETE syllabus of THREE classes.

In CBSE, a lot of syllabus is cut off by many exams during the entire year and students are even given easy stuff to make marks like Match The Columns, Fill in the blanks etc. but in NIOS, you have just one exam in which EVERYTHING is asked, no marks are given away easily, you gotta write with all your knowledge and determination in order to pass, you gotta write in detail for each and every mark unlike CBSE which readily gives you a lot of marks away.

In CBSE you have Teachers, Tutors, Classes, Coaching and what not, NIOS does offer studying classes sometimes but seldom do the AI's (Accredited Institutions) practice them, in our case there were NO CLASSES, NO TUITIONS, NO TEACHERS, NO COACHING, NOTHING. We had to study those huge bulky books ourselves. And in fact, our AI was so stupid, he didn't even give us the books of TWO subjects, we managed to get the summary of the lessons and previous question papers from an old student and did further research on the internet on the subjects with all our heart and thats the only reason why we passed.

Do you even know anything about statistics? Only 25% or so people have managed to pass through NIOS (Secondary Course) this year, and out of them around 90% rank below 50% marks. There were pratically millions of students enrolled.

So get your facts straight before saying anything else, moron. You know I'm so enraged right now at what your stupid self has said that I'd actually slap you right in the face if you said that in front of me.

Besides, He and I are enrolled into NIOS only because we cannot bother going to school anymore due to our business which is MUCH more important. As far as gaining all the required knowledge is concerned, NIOS does the trick.

Nwk should read Nios first than he should make his view on it.
