Bold part of the quoted text means that I should lift light weights with many reps right? I'm not bad at all lifting heavy weight with minium 10-12 reps so I guess I'm going good :)

If you don't want to 'bulk' then yes lower weights and higher reps would be the thing to do. 10-12 reps though would not be considered heavy weights, that would be more in the area of toning IMO. Lower reps 4-6 possibly as hi as 8 for bulking.

I personally try not to do any lifts where I can do 12 reps or more with the weight, unless I have no choice as the dumb bells don't go high enough. To me that type of lifting just is a waste. You may get stronger and tone, but it's not the way I lift. Errr I'm sure that's confusing but it wasn't meant to be

I don't pay to go to a gym. I just jog and do things like pull ups and push ups. If you do feel the need to go to a gym there are usually free ones at schools.

This is confusing  You mean to say that lifting heavy weights with 10-12 reps and 3 sets each (exercise) is a waste . Like if I am lifting 18 KG dumbbells with "Dumbbell Bench Press" is there anything wrong with it? Considering I'm a newbie trying to gain weight lol

it's not a waste per say. he means if you are able to do 10-12 with a 'heavy' weight with the intent of bulking...the weight is not heavy enough!!

    so more or less,

    > reps = less towards bulking up

I used to spend lots of money at the gym, but there is no really good gym in this town, so I stopped spending money on something that wasn't really worth it. I still love to run, but my upcoming foot surgery has put a damper on that lately. I may have to start lifting again, just to stay off of my foot more... And I play softball, but the season only lasts 8 weeks :( (That's the worst thing about living in the North - summers are too short!)

bulking up, like when you go to a discount store and buy a 3 gallon jar of Miracle Whip :p:p

to me it means to increase your muscle mass, to add muscle, to get bigger!

this guy went a little too far IMO

Yeah... I'd say a bit too far. Is that Grim's target size??

Did Grim ever see the photo that you posted of him with Yoda's face?
