I'm glad I'm not the only one around here who actually IS the parent. It's pointless to calculate a daily rate, but I have a mortgage, two car payments, insurance, life insurance, groceries, two phones, student loans, corporate debt, electricity, gas, clothing and child related expenses. Suffice to say, it's much higher than most everyone else's.
your electric bill must be small living in Texas during the summer Ours peaked at like ~ $400 last summer and we keep it relatively warm! (ATX here)
We have uniform monthly billing on our one-story. We pay $223 a month which is an average of all twelve months. Of course my hubby and I have three or four computers hooked up and on at a given time, so that might be part of the problem. Rebecca
1 story here too, not sure what our averaged monthly would be, prob pretty close to that! yep, 3&4 pc's....too bad you couldn't harvest all that heat!
We do harvest it...in the room. The rest of the house is 75, but the computer room is like 85 all the time. We don't want to do a window unit or anything, so we just deal with it. It is great in the winter when it gets down to like...55 degrees outside. Rebecca
add some lava rocks and you'd have a sauna in the summer 55 degrees in winter that's freezing cold for some Texans right! I grew up in VT so I have to laugh @ that
It's cold enough to light a fire in the fireplace. I live a bit south of Houston, so that is about as much winter as we see (with the exception of three or four days in the 40s.)
How funny, I'm on the outskirts of Friendswood currently, but grew up in Clear Lake. I actually just came home from UHCL a little while ago. (Finishing up my Masters of Library Science.) Small world... R
that's a trip we lived in Webster for like 1.5 years and then got a house across I45 in FW I went to the downtown campus though....OY with the traffic!!! good luck finishing up that mastery
I am surprised by numbers here Mine will prob be the highest $2100 mortgage (only 3 payments left i am so excited lol and my parents have moved to NY so it will be all mine) $240 car insurance(dealer) $600 on food(Dont know how to cook so i depend on restaurants) about $300 for starbucks $280 health insurance $100+ elec bill $400+ car gas $25+ gas bill (prob the only thing that is lowest) $59 cellphone $99 for cable and phone $29 for internet $300 clothing $500+ travel (airfare on average) List is infinite and that does not include any taxes and business costs but i am glad to have my house paid off soon and then i will have lot more $$ to waste...
My cost of living : ) ) 1. I drink every day a long esspresso with milk - $ 1.1 2. Transportation through city - 0.8 $ 3. One and a half packs of cigars - 3 $ 4. Other things like going out, drinking another think beside the regullar coffee - let's say - 2$ (including phone card, bread, juice, cakes) That means : ~7 $ every day >> 210 $ per month What do you think ? If i could just cut back on those cigars ...
100$ the rent (bills internet etc) around 5-8$/day cigars soda beer 30-50$ cell phone bill So around 600$/month but for exemples this month i bought clothes for 400$ But i'm not doing this evry month just like once in 3-4 months
$2-5 a day... just finished college and already working but i'm still living with my parents so my only expenses is my transportation and food when i'm at work.
Well, Kolkata is the cheapest city where you can get standard amenities at such low prices...on top of that I'm a miser (sort of). Now guess...
