Yeh, its pretty cool, read more about it in my recent blog link. its not my blog but yeh and you can download and read about it here http://www.apple.com/safari/
indeed. safari is one of the most stable web browers... not sure how well it works in windows though.. testing it right away..
Safari? Really? I have it on my mac but rarely use it.. I prefer FF for some reason. @Rugbyman: what do you mean by more stable?
I've opened this site and a couple of others with it and I detest what it does to bold text. looks really fuzzy. Plus some of the menus we have which look fine in all other browser tests are screwed. I'm happy to have it installed for testing but I won't be using it as my regular browser.
It will sit along side Opera on my laptop for now. I develop web pages to be browser independent so browsers preference is not a big deal to me.
Safari ... One of the Best Browser ? ... never heard of it I use FF for my regular browsing and my dad use IE (he's not comfortable with FF) anyways gotta try Safari someday
My friend who uses Mac told me that the Safari is about 40% slower than FF. Do you have same feeling?
Well not much discussion about Safari as browser than how can we say best one. I am still using Opera since 2005 and its rocks for me.
testing it myself now. It loads pictures somewhat slow like FF does. My biggest issue so far is safari doesn't respond to my 'back' button on my mouse to go back a page.... annoying.
from what i've played with on the new version (aka windows version), it works just fine except when I try to play an embedded youtube vid, it errors and closes itself.
I don't mean to plug my website into it, but several security vulnerabilities were found already within the public beta of Safari. As for me, I won't be downloading Safari... yet anyway. http://thefunbucket.com/2007/06/11/safari-now-on-windows/ http://thefunbucket.com/2007/06/12/safari-for-windows-gets-bashed-about-security-problems/
