Insane infraction threads

Why dont we start out giving infraction to those who complain for infraction here!

Dont they just read the email which they get.

These days, about 2-5 er day.

Will rise up if this isnt controlled by giving our infractions.

Also, you should consider adding a message in the infraction template that

"Do not complain about infractions. If you have any questions please check this thread(da infraction threadin Feedback section) or contact us'

 

Well sound good for me. Now days many people open a thread on this and they also got 1 more for that thread too. So this message will help to avoid another point.

 

Can we take this as another infraction thread and start adding negative reps? j/k.

 

It certainly looks suspicious!
Rob mentioned that he has started giving infractions for these types of thread, so I think it's already in hand.

 

But if he had started giving out infractions, this must be mentioned in infraction template. Shouldnt it be?

Since, almost all users read the email reporting them they got infraction...

 

Why not give two infractions instead? The 2nd one saying "This infraction is for when you open a new thread and complain about THIS infraction!!"

Only if they have enabled the option for receiving email when they get an infraction. There should be a red alert message below the DP logo saying that don't open a thread about infractions and blah blah which should appear for a day when you login after receiving an infraction.

It's the same old thing , rules are in place , they are there for everyone who joins to read ( BUT 99.9% DO NOT READ ANY OF THE RULES AT ALL )
And once a member Recieves an infraction they see RED NO MATTER WHAT THE INFRACTION IS FOR THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THEY SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED IT .

as someone pointed out earlier if rob and the other mods have started isuing another infraction for starting an infraction thread , then cool

Maybe it would be better if it just told people to read the rules, that way it's not just stopping infraction threads, but also helping to promote good posting habits all the way around.

 

No one reads. If they'd, they wouldnt post/complain about infractions here.

 

Then they deserve another infraction. Ignorance is NO excuse, especially when the rules are posted twice. Infraction threads don't even count in the "well, everyone else is doing it" category due to someone almost always hops in now and says "You're going to get an infraction for this".

And for the record, I read the rules, twice (heh, ask Crazy_Rob).

 

I spent my life reading rules but I still get infraction

Ask Shawn or any mod for proof.(If they say, No, they are telling a lie and they haven't read the rules themselves)
