If you enter this word in Google search "tutorialsroom", starting from the second results page, you will see many results seems like coming from different domains and have nothing to do with tutorialsroom. They all start with "Ask yourself: if you can't..." and any garbage after that in Google result pages. This is very annoying, how can I stop or report that to Google?
You can't stop it. But I agree there is way too much garbage indexed in Google. I think they don't even care.
And this is the exact reason I don't understand why so many people are crazy about google...For instance, search for a pc game, most probably you'll see an empty page from ign about that game...so how on earth can webmasters would link to that particular "empty" page?...or is it because ign is a giant in the field? And I'm not talking about sponsored links... I use wikipedia whenever I can instead of google...
Where in the webmasters tools? It's not url removal because it's used for removing your urls. also, what to report? the results are pointing to many domains, although I'm sure they are for the same owner because they are using the same way for deceiving (all start with the same words that I have mentioned in the results description)
You mean to tell me that this sort of thing is rampant on Google, but if a couple of sites pick up an article I wrote and use it, I might get penalized for "duplicate content"? Is there any way to make sense of all this?
I've found this link to report spam to Google, I'm going to report those sites http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html
No, use the one from Google Webmaster Central. Matt Cutts mentioned that it carries more weight if you are logged in: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport?hl=en You can get there by clicking on Tools in the upper right hand corner, and then the link that says "Report spam in our index". -Michael
This kind of spam exists for ages that uses google's own search results and have not seen any of them removed yet.
