What will the infidels be missing out in paradise?

Dear Infidels, for not embracing Islam you will be missing out things in Paradise which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has ever thought of.

In paradise, imagination will be the only limit in one’s mind. However there are certain pleasures in paradise that were specifically mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah and here I am listing some of it:

    Rivers of water
    Rivers of milk
    Rivers of wine
    Rivers of pure honey
    All kind of fruits
    Silken garments
    Raised couches

In addition to the above, people will be served by beautiful boys of everlasting youth (I am not sure if their services are limited or not). However there is a special treatment for men as they are promised to wed pure beautiful Houris (72 of them), that in addition to the pre-owned earth wives.

On the other hand good Muslim women will have the luxury of keeping their husbands just like on earth. God will remove their jealousy, so women will be happy to share their men with 72+ houris. Given their nature (I don’t think women like to have multiple partners), I guess it’s a fair distribution by Allah!.

So think again of what you’ll be losing out in the afterlife:D.

what a retarded thread...why should I choose your religion instead of choosing another one? All religions promice you all kind of shit but there's no proof any of them are the "real" religion. It's just a way of controlling people

Well, I honestly don't understand one thing.

Why do some Muslims have to constantly try to convince people that their religion is the best, why do you have to call everyone that does not embrace your religion an infidel?

People have always had the need to attribute some phenomenons that they don't understand to a higher entity. Even from prehistoric times, when lightning struck people used to perform sacrifices and other things to please "gods".

There are lots of religions out there that say that when you embrace the religion you will go to a beautiful place where all things are nice and so on, for example also Christian religion has this image of Paradise where all things are nice, all people live together in happiness and so on. Other religions believe in reincarnation, that you soul never goes to a higher place.

In the end, it's only what you want to believe or rather what your parents have forced you to believe.

I am theoretically a Christian, theoretically because when I was born my parents have registered me as a Christian, I did not have the choice. Further in my life, from about 2 years to 8 years my parents used to take me to the church because "this is how it should be", "this is nice", they insisted I pray and so on. You see, you are basically trained like a dog to accept some beliefs and not question them.

Now, I pretty much not go to church, I'm really trying not to lean towards any religion, because I believe most religions have actually just a few purposes: to control how you think, to control your behavior, to establish rules about how you should be in the community, rules that should not be in the first place.

Do you decided by yourself that being a Muslim is the best? Did you actually have a choice? Do you actually can choose not to be a Muslim where you are? Did you review other religions, did you go to other churches and see what their beliefs are?

It's so simple to say that all people that are not Muslims are "infidels" but I think we should all try to open our minds a little bit.

Lots of religions are based on documents that have reached us through thousands of hand, after hundreds of transcriptions.. Are you 100% confident the Quran and Sunnah are exactly the original documents the author wrote? It's well known that priests have modified scriptures and bibles to insert passages or remove lines that were too radical for their beliefs.

How do you know that you are interpreting those documents correctly? How do you know that the documents were not written when the author was drunk or written as a parody of some sorts? You don't, you just believe in what everyone told you and you don't want to contest anything because the people around you would judge you.

Take a look again at what you have written, more to the point to what "pleasures" we would receive.

Rivers of water, Rivers of milk, Rivers of wine, Rivers of pure honey, All kind of fruits, Silken garments, Raised couches

Try drinking only milk or only wine for a week, you will get sick and will not want to drink milk or wine for a month, you may even die because the natural balance in your body will be destroyed. I need variety, I don't need garments or jewelry to make myself noticed and I don't need raised couches to feel good.

If you take a step back, you will see that these pleasures are all things poor people (both in wealth and mind) dream of obtaining. Unfortunately these people are also the most numerous and people that make religions have to gather these poor people around them by promising them what they don't have. Would your religion have so many followers if your books promised only clean feet and nice boots in the same world we live now ?

I would certainly not want to be served by beautiful boys of everlasting youth, I don't have anything against gay people but I don't need that. And I'm pretty sure Muslims are against gay man (can you see the contradiction here?).
I don't need 72 Houris ( why the 72 number, why such precision in books? was this number something special when the book was written?) to please me or pre-owned wifes.
If Paradise is what religions imagine it to be, you would be able to have relations with any woman because there would be no worries, no diseases, no jealousy, nothing bad in Paradise, all born children would also be happy in Paradise, it's an ideal world. Again, all this human sin, having sex with woman, is used to attract people to this religion.

To quote you, "Muslim women will have the luxury of keeping their husbands ", this is something that only Muslims have, preconceived ideas, that your religion impose, that women are inferior to man and they would have the "luxury" to keep their husbands. Other civilizations have learned to accept that women can have the same rights as men.

I don't see anything saying if the virgins are male, female, or even human. What if you got to paradise and get stuck with 72 virgin dudes? Or 72 virgin cats? That really wasn't worth blowing yourself up for, was it? Or what if they are fat, ugly chicks? What if he's celibate and doesn't want virgins, he'd rather have a Xbox 360 with 72 games. Is it negotiable?

I'm not so sure i'd be pushing this so hard. I can see why Michael Jackson joined Islam though. It all comes into focus.

Yes, but the milk is very yummy and the wine is delicious. But don’t worry there is also meat in the paradise diet. The natural balance of the body would be maintained whatever you eat.

One will be free up there, if he doesn’t want to wear nice garments or sit on comfortable couches that is fine too. But I’m sure Arabian people in the desert 1400 years ago would love to have that.

These beautiful boys will be like waiters/servants/maids serving the believers. I’m not sure if their services will be limited to just that, the scholars commentaries aren’t clear about it.

Well, actually there is no exact precision about the 72 number. There are some who said it to be 100 houris and some said it could be more or less depending on your grade. But 72 is a good enough number since men sexualability will be increased to that of a 100 man.

Unfortunately I’m an infidel too so I won’t be enjoying the delicious pure honey.

I don't understand how the very things considered as sin (two, immediately, come to mind: "intoxicants," wine, strictly forbidden; and homosexuality), not to mention implied pederasty, are magically transformed as believer blessings in an afterlife. Allah, the supreme mindfucker? "Hold off, fellas, only for a little while, 'cuz wait till you see what I've got in store for you?"

I am dumbfounded by all religion, but must admit this one takes the cake, for me.

no eyes have seen (= 72 old hags that are virgins because no man would have them) = why you keep them covered up i guess.

Yes, I should have said so, as I did as well. But it still points up to me the bizarre nature of the religion. I'm surprised theologian/apologists haven't come up with an answer for the apparent contradiction(s).
