Hey i wanted to know from other experienced people what works the best to bring the highest revenue.

I was thinking of maybe doing addsence and text link adds but not crowding it and putting it on after i have 100+ uniques a day.

If there are any better strategies please share them here. :)

Is your blog of a very specific niche? If yes, affiliate programs may send you more revenue for your site rather than adsense (depending on your quality of traffic of course).

Most people looking at these sorts of sites won't click on Ads so its going to be hard to monetize. If you have good Alexa & Technorati rankings you should be able to make money selling links.

make posts on programs and include referral links.

for example i made a post about a special offer a poker company is doing, and i included the poker affiliate link.. had 60+ downloads from my affiliate link

I say a nice mix of adsense and affiliate links works fine. As Chris said, you can include a post about the affiliates and put the referral link right in the post. Try for a couple of months and adjust as needed.

    Good Luck

You can post affiliate links, but make sure you give your visitors useful information before trying to sell to them.

Whether it's a blog or not makes little difference what's most suitable - what's more important is your audience. The best thing to do is to experiment and try by yourself. Depending on your niche, you might even consider selling your own stuff (like ebooks or art pictures). There was even a wordpress plugin called "buy me a beer" (which basically is another form of "donations" - but for different audience). Text link ads can work, affiliates can work, adsense can work - it all depends who your audience is.

Adsense won't probably bring you much money with 100 daily uniques though..

Hmmm i have read all of your post they all look very helpful but i still think i will not get that much traffic.

And i think that readers would kill me if i tried selling them crap over my posts.

No no no... don't start a blog with that attitude: "if" is not an option. Simply make it work or don't start it at all. Seriously - this might save lots of trouble and time for you.

    Hi there,
I suggest combining adsense with affiliate programs. Write your blog post to focus on the features and benfits of the affiliate program you're promoting so your adsense ads are related to your topic, then add your cloaked or redirected affiliate link at the bottom of your blog post.

    I hope this helps.

    Enjoy your day!
    Terry :)

Just to make it simple, You must try various ways in which your visitors are interested. You can also conduct a survey for them inorder to find their suitable taste. Once you get the idea, you can then go right ahead in full force.
