I have an affiliate website and I suggested by several experts to focus on writing articles. Usually I am too lazy to write articles because I think there are not so many traffics generated from them and we need to not only writing, but also rewriting. Time-consuming, must I say. But I tried to start writing articles. At first, I wrote 1 article daily but I submitted them to about 50 article directories which all of them are PR 4 and more. But then I discovered about dupe then what I do(until now) is writing article every 2 day. Why? Because I am using my time to rewriting those article to prevent dupe. This is very time-consuming for me and I don't think I get so much results from it. Do you think so? Because the traffic generated from it isn't that much and I think the link back isn't much too because your article PR is zero, unless many people reading it. So I think I should only writing quality articles (You can't write quality and original article every 2 day except you buy it/rewrite content) do you think it is ok? Because you know, writing articles is very time-consuming because you need to rewrite them, if not, then what's the point we are writing articles?
New articles = more traffic from the search engines (to put it simply) ...and traffic is money you know.
Don't bother submitting more than a few articles to other sites. Make sure you write loads of high quality content for your own site and then promote it via social networks such as digg & stumbleupon.
I think i will try this way but in digg there are too many competitions..i will try other social bookmarking
My best tip is to join digg and start submitting content from really well known sites. Once you get to know how digg works in a month or two you can start submitting your own pages.
I don't understand the part about you having to Rewrite the articles... unless you referring to finalizing before publishing. Othewise, once an article is published any updates would be handled in new articles. And don't neglect an articles' lifetime of income by deleting or renaming.
Subscribe to the feed for a site like Engadget and submit some of their blog posts. Diggers love engadget. Over a few months you will get to know how digg works.
