do you think url.com/layouts/car-friendster-layouts would be a good URL choice for targeting "car friendster layouts"? Or would url.com/friendster-layouts/car be a better choice? This is just for SEO, no type in.
Anyone? I think the second structure would be simplier, but the first may have more of an effect because it has 2 "layouts" keyword in it.
I think the second choice will be better. Keep in mind that if you repeat twice in url, that will not be too good. It will be taken as spamming the search engines.
What if I did url.com/code/car-friendster-layouts? WOuld this be a better choice, since it also targets the keyword code?
Normally a sub folder with the keywords will be better. In that folder the files to html links can have keywords but try to avoid using the same keywords as the folder.
Thanks, so url.com/code/car-friendster-layouts/george-bush would be more prefered over url.com/code/car-friendster-layouts/george-bush.html?
What I meant is: url.com/code/car-friendster-layouts/nissan-template.html Since the sub-folder is about car layout, the html should have related keywords to the sub-folder. This way, it will have more weight in terms of search engines ranking.
